Born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Brett Malone grew up surrounded by the game of hockey and the strong family traditions tied to it. He spent five years competing in junior hockey, developing a deep appreciation for the teamwork, resilience, and discipline that define the sport.

After completing his playing career, Brett earned his degree in Business and Marketing from the University of New Brunswick. Today, he applies that same competitive spirit and leadership as a Canadian business executive.

Currently, Brett remains closely connected to the game and his family’s commitment to giving back. As a board member of The Malone Family Foundation, he is proud to extend the Malone family’s legacy in hockey – helping ensure the sport continues to inspire and positively impact others for generations to come.
