Dr. Rahmon Hart Sr.
Director of Community Relations, Rivers Casino
Dr. Rahmon Hart Sr. has been the Director of Community Relations at Rivers Casino since 2014. In this role, he is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with community leaders, local business owners, corporate executives, and government officials. He also oversees the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives at Rivers Casino.
Dr. Hart is deeply committed to serving Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. A Pittsburgh native from the Manchester neighborhood, Dr. Hart earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in College Administration from Slippery Rock University. After serving in leadership roles locally at Slippery Rock University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Duquesne University, Dr. Hart earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Duquesne. Over the years, he has coordinated a long list of community service initiatives throughout the City of Pittsburgh including but not limited to youth mentoring programs, holiday drives, and charitable fundraisers that ultimately uplift children and families throughout the region.
Dr. Hart also plays an integral role in advancing The Malone Family Foundation’s mission locally in Pittsburgh. He helped host the Foundation’s Black & Gold Gala at Rivers Casino in 2025, which is set to return to the venue in 2026. Further, he has begun to take an active role with the Foundation’s grant program with a focus on the Access to the Game pillar. Through his leadership and passion for community service, Dr. Hart supports the Foundation by bridging local outreach and partnerships to inclusion through the power of hockey.
