Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart brings decades of financial expertise and hockey experience to The Malone Family Foundation. A lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Kevin spent parts of 34 seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins franchise, joining the organization in 1992 after nearly six years with Deloitte’s audit practice. At the Penguins, he oversaw all accounting and financial reporting, including budgets, forecasts, cash management, tax filings, and monthly and annual financial statements. He also served as the team’s liaison with the NHL on matters such as Hockey Related Revenue, Revenue Sharing, player salaries, and CBA reporting. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College.

Beyond his professional career, he has been deeply involved in youth hockey, serving as Chairman of the Board for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite and previously contributing to the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and local amateur and high school hockey associations.

As Treasurer of The Malone Family Foundation, Kevin applies his extensive financial knowledge and passion for hockey to help guide the foundation’s mission through the sport he loves.
