Then, on May 16, Black & Gold Breaking the Mold continues with the Hero & Celebrity Hockey Game at the RMU Island Sports Complex. Those participating in the game will be current + former NHL players, members of our Veteran and first responder communities, local celebrities, and mental health advocates. The game will shine a light on the healing power of hockey and our need to take positive action daily on our mental health journeys. Prior to the game, arrive early to visit our Mental Health Rally hosted by YaJagoff and presented by Mancini’s Bakery. This family-friendly pre-game event will share mental wellness resources, as well as information related to MTV’s A.S.K. initiative, which encourages us all to Acknowledge, Support and Keep in Touch with one another. PLUS, our celebrities will make a special appearance to connect with YOU – – our community of mental health advocates.
